My brother came back to KL over a weekend and Mom cooked steamboat for all of us. Mom cooked steamboat as everyone is on low
carb diet except the children of course. And another reason is steamboat is easier to prepare.

The prawn is so fresh. It is so yummy and crunchy if u don't overcook them.

Chicken thigh meat, makes the soup so tasty. It is tastier than breast meat.

Other side dishes like egg and rice noodles make this a wholesome meal. Mom made her own dipping chili
sauce too. This is what I like about home cook steamboat , you just prepare what you like fresh and quality food instead of just mass produce
